Late score gives Exeter win over Saracens
Heading into half time, Exeter looked to be out of the game. Down 15-6, Saracens seemed to be well on their way to a season opening win.
But the Chiefs dug in and fought back, slowly chipping away at the deficit. Then, trailing by three time running down, Sam Hill found pay dirt for the game-tying draw while Gareth Steenson gave Exeter a 20–18 win with his conversion.
Steenson led the Chiefs with two conversions, two penalty kick goals and 10 points in the win.
